Food for Thought and Eating
One of the wonderful things about the Wisconsin Permaculture Convergence is the opportunity to share meals with each other. The planning team works hard each convergence to provide food that nourishes the minds for everyone involved. In the past we have had food catered or prepared onsite by planning team members, my mother Kate Carlson, or local catering operations. This year we taking a hybrid approach with lunch and dinner on Saturday prepared by planning team members and volunteers while lunch on Sunday will be provided by Jolly Frog out of Madison Wisconsin. Below is the planned menu for both days.
Saturday
Lunch
Build your Own Sandwich: A variety of meat, cheese and veggies served with a side salad.
Dinner
Pizza: We’ll be cranking out a variety of 12” pizzas every two minutes.
Wine Tasting: mIEKAL aND who owns and operates Beyond Vineyard and Nursery.
He will also be selling a variety of his cold hardy fruit trees and shrubs during the convergence.
Sunday
Lunch
Burrito bowls, burritos and tacos: Jolly Frog will be slinging these in veggie or omnivore options.
Shoot us an email if you have extra produce and or meat that you can bring with you to share for the meals.
